• RELIEF FROM DRY EYES IN TRARALGON
Experience
Lasting Relief From
Dry Eye Syndrome
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a cutting-edge treatment designed to address mild to severe dry eye symptoms, particularly those caused by Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD).
By delivering carefully calibrated energy and frequency, IPL stimulates the meibomian glands, improving their function and providing significant relief from dry eye discomfort. This innovative approach targets the root cause of your symptoms, offering a more effective and lasting solution.
• QUICK & EFFECTIVE IPL TREATMENT
Life-Changing for Dry Eye Sufferers
Using the advanced E>Eye Device, IPL treatment is a fast and straightforward procedure, with each session lasting approximately 20 minutes. Many patients begin to notice improvements in meibomian gland function within hours of their first session.
Here’s what to expect:
•20% of patients experience excellent results after just one session.
•50% of patients report significant improvement after two sessions (around 15 days post-treatment).
•86% of patients notice a major reduction in dry eye symptoms after three sessions.
For the best results, a fourth IPL session—typically completed around 75 days from the start of treatment—maximizes the benefits.
At your follow-up appointment, usually scheduled one month after your final session, our optometrist will assess and demonstrate the improvements in your meibomian gland function.

What is
Dry Eye?
Dry eye syndrome is a common condition where your eyes do not produce enough tears or the right quality of tears to keep them lubricated and comfortable. Factors such as aging, environmental conditions, medications, and underlying health issues can contribute to the condition.
Dry Eye Assessment
Conducting a comprehensive dry eye assessment enables our optometrist to identify the underlying causes of your symptoms and accurately diagnose the specific type of dry eye you have. Once the evaluation is complete, the optometrist can recommend the appropriate treatment for you.
Dry Eye Treatment
Following your assessment, a tailored treatment plan will be created to address your specific needs.
Treatment may include prescription eye drops, therapies carried out at our practice such as E-Eye IPL, or lifestyle adjustments to improve tear quality and relieve discomfort.
